Prosciutto Hot Dog Recipe by Donna Hay
Goodness, it certainly is cold outside. And there I was thinking about digging out my spring-time dresses from the attic when we had that brief glimpse of sunshine last week…Optimistic, I know! When my husband suggested that we take a trip down to the coast today, I wasn’t particularly jumping for joy at the idea. As usual, the lure of the sea got the better of me, but it appeared that we were the only ones crazy enough to get down by the waters edge. So after a super quick jog along the beach, we all piled back into the car with our teeth chattering and couldn’t have been happier to get back home.
When you’re truly frozen to the core, the only food that will suffice is good old comforting treats. Forget the healthy eating for a bit and indulge in these delicious prosciutto hot dogs with fennel jam and pickled pears by Donna Hay Magazine. The kids will absolutely adore them too!
